HLS is a new business, just established in mid 2024. At HLS, we aim to provide 3 key principles to individuals: Affordable, Punctual, and Quality services.

HLS is a small business located in Woodhall Spa, Lincolnshire & Cambridge. We have only been running a short time but have already made a statement in the surrounding areas with the services that we provide.

Meet the Team

Ryan

Ryan's passion for maintaining and enhancing garden spaces began at a young age. Even as a child, he could often be found tending to his parents' land, whether it was mowing the lawn, trimming hedges, or growing hay for local riding schools.

This early enthusiasm blossomed into a personal project where he built his own campsite, a serene retreat nestled among majestic conifer trees, which still exists today.

After completing school, Ryan chose to embark on a career in the farming industry. Over the years, he became an invaluable member of the team, honing his skills and mastering complex tasks that contributed to the farm's success.

After many fulfilling years in farming, Ryan felt a desire for a career change and returned to his roots, operating HGVs and grab lorries. This new direction sparked a realization: he wanted to leverage his skills to start his own business.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, he took on the challenge of building his patio and many other things around his property. This hands-on experience ultimately inspired him to establish Hazelwood Landscaping Services, combining his love for landscaping with a commitment to quality craftsmanship.

Billy

Billy's journey has been quite unique. As a teenager, he discovered a deep passion for the equine industry, particularly for working with and nurturing young horses.

However, after several years immersed in that world, he began to lose interest and decided to shift gears, keeping his love for riding and horses as a cherished hobby instead.

This transition opened the door for Billy to explore new and unexpected career paths, including roles as an optical consultant and in customer service. He often joked with his family about never wanting to work in the trades, but life has a way of surprising us.

Recently, Billy has taken a significant step by pursuing accounting qualifications. This education equips him with the knowledge and skills necessary to manage HLS effectively, ensuring that they can provide services that are both high-quality and affordable for their clients.
